About this script
A real auction house for your server economy.
Players consign items straight from their inventory, bid against each other and buy lots outright. Every bid is held in escrow, nobody wins with a last second click, and nothing gets lost, not even while a player is offline. Sales and refunded bids collect on a separate auction balance that players pay out whenever they like.
The Auction House gives your players a place to trade with each other and gives your economy a money sink that feels fair.
How it works
1. Walk up to the auctioneer and open the auction house.
2. Browse the running lots, bid or buy one outright.
3. Consign your own items with start bid, duration and optional buyout.
4. Pick up won lots from storage and pay out your balance.
Features
• Live auctions: Every running lot with time left, highest bid and seller, grouped by ending time. Search by name or seller, sort by ending time, price or name.
• Escrow bids: The bid plus fee is charged right away and held until the auction ends. Nobody can bid money they do not have.
• Outbid? Money back: When a player is outbid, the full amount including the fee goes back to their auction balance, even while they are offline.
• Anti-snipe: A bid in the last two minutes extends the auction, so nobody wins with a last second click. The time is set in the config.
• Buy now: Sellers can set an optional buyout. It ends the auction at once and hands the item straight to the buyer.
• My bids and my auctions: Players see every lot they bid on, which ones they lead and which ones they lost, plus their own lots with bids and time left. A lot without bids can be withdrawn.
• Consign from the inventory: Stacks are merged. Items with metadata, like serial numbers or durability, stay single pieces with their properties and are auctioned slot exact. Lot size, duration from 1 to 48 hours, start bid, buyout and an anonymous option.
• Pickup storage: Won lots and lots that ended without a bid wait in storage for 30 days. Pick up one entry or everything at once. Whatever does not fit into the inventory simply stays in storage.
• Auction balance: Sales and refunded bids collect on their own balance next to the lifetime revenue. Players pay it out to the bank or in cash, as set in the config.
• Fair fee model: One rate, paid by the bidder on top of the bid. The seller receives the hammer price in full. The fee is removed from the economy as a money sink or paid to a society account.
• Block list: Cash, IDs and every weapon are blocked by default. Lots that become blocked later go back to the seller on the next start.
• Discord log: Every listing, bid, sale, buyout, pickup and payout.
• Own interface: A custom NUI in the Goliath design, from 720p to ultrawide. English and German included, every text editable.
Compatibility
• Framework, inventory and interaction are detected automatically on start.
• Frameworks: ESX Legacy, QBCore, Qbox, custom bridge
• Inventories: ox_inventory, qb-inventory, ps-inventory, lj-inventory, qs-inventory, codem-inventory, tgiann-inventory, origen_inventory, core_inventory, ak47_inventory, jaksam_inventory, chezza_inventory, ESX default inventory, custom bridge
• Interaction: ox_target, qb-target or TextUI with a key
• Fee payout: esx_addonaccount, Renewed-Banking, qb-banking, qb-management
• Requires: ox_lib, oxmysql and OneSync
• Database: the tables are created automatically on the first start
Security
• Every action is checked on the server. The interface only sends what the player wants to do.
• Players have to stand at the auction house. Callbacks triggered from anywhere else are rejected.
• The bid is charged before the lot changes. If the bid fails, the money comes back at once.
• Two bids at the same moment never both win. The slower player gets a message, not a lost bid.
• Won items are stored before the lot is removed, never the other way round.
• Double clicks are locked per player.
• The Discord webhook lives in a server only config.
Configuration
• Auction house locations with ped, scenario and map blip
• Accounts for bids and payouts (bank or cash)
• Fee rate and an optional society account for the fee
• Durations, minimum raise, anti-snipe time and buyout factor
• Minimum start bid, maximum bid, lot size and auctions per player
• Storage time and expiry check
• Anonymous consigning and items with metadata on or off
• Block list for items and weapons
• Hooks for developers: Notify, PayFeeToSociety, OnLog, OnOpen and OnClose in the editable files. Exports: Open (client), GetBalance and GetActiveLots (server). The server event goliath_auctionhouse:sold fires on every sale and buyout.
• Staff command: /auctionremove [id] removes a lot, refunds the highest bid and moves the item to the seller's storage.
Installation
1. Put goliath_auctionhouse into your resources folder.
2. Add "ensure goliath_auctionhouse" to your server.cfg after your framework, inventory, oxmysql and ox_lib.
3. Start the server. The tables are created on their own.
4. Set Config.Locale = 'en' and adjust location, fee and rules in config.lua.
Open Source edition
The complete source code, nothing encrypted: server, client and the full NUI. An Escrow edition with the protected core is available in the Escrow category.
